NO COMPETITION for Tesla’s NEW Blade Battery from BYD.
In March 2020, BYD revealed their Blade Battery. The business hopes to eliminate all EV safety risks, such as battery fires, with it. The Blade Battery, according to BYD Chairman and President Wang Chuanfu, is a “gift to the industry,” since the business is eager to share it with other automakers. “We will share all of our technology and goods with the world in the future,” Chuanfu stated during the Blade Battery’s launch last year.

Honey-combed structural panels, once inserted in a battery pack, offer sufficient support for the battery pack. According to BYD, each long Blade Battery functions as a support beam, contributing strongly to the overall pack. The Blade Battery was also created with the goal of making the most of the space available within the battery pack. And they also said that the Blade battery uses less space than a traditional EV battery.
